was anxious about your arrival. I am so glad to hear that you are having really decent weather (at least you were when you wrote so hope it is continuing. I'm quite sure it will do the good man's bronchial trouble no end of good, & perhaps effect a complete cure, & the change will be so good for you too, Mother, you certainly had one coming to you (to put it in a slang way). You should both be growing fat & younger every day now! With such a load of anxiety off your shoulders. You must have been tremendously exited about the Armistice news & surrender of Germany, one can hardly realize yet that this business is really over & that all that remains now is the signing of Peace. It is queer how one notices the silence now, no guns booming as before, things are being carried
