am going back to Seaford tonight by 8 o'clock, which is useful time to leave, it will give us all the the afternoon here.

June 23th 1918

Dear Mother I came over here from Seaford yesterday to spend the week end, as I have put in a good many week ends around Camp without a break, I thought it was about time I had change! It is a great comfort to get away from one's tent for a little, & have a chance of getting some of the camp dust out of one's system.
