Dear Erroll,

I hear the mail may go off tomorrow morning so heres a scrawl to let you know I am on dry land again.

We disembarked [yesterday?] after [lying?] in London over a week and are now about three miles outside Salonika in a camp. Dont know when we start up for the front but hope pretty soon. Its a great looking town quite the district plan I even saw but quaint. I hope to go in tomorrow as I want some things. The town is full of [Greek?] soldiers, some of them
