The weekly average number of non-effectives in each unit will be shewn separately at the foot of the form.

Under "miscellaneous units" will be shewn total of working parties found from fighting troops for work which would be performed by Labour units, i.e., by unarmed troops.

FORM L/10.- ARMY LABOUR SITUATION.

The figure under "Requirements" will show the estimated additional labour required.

(a) Immediately - under column headed "immediate." but excluding fighting troops to be replaced.

(b) Immediately including those needed to replace fighting troops: and shewn in the three categories British, Coloured, and P. of W. (Columns 7, 8, and 9).

(c) During the month and in some subsequent months (Columns 10 to 18).

As regards forecasts of labour to be released, the actual numbers to be released on the completion of a task or for other reasons will be shewn, irrespective of whether the total requirements for the month in question exceed the numbers so released, and irrespective of the numbers of fighting troops.

Fighting troops employed as labour will be taken into account when completing the columns headed "Amount of this labour llikely to be released by the end of ........."

Similar forms to L/10 will be used for forecasts of labour on L. of C., etc.
