Sir,

I have the honour to lay before you for your favourable consideration and recommendation this, my application for transfer to the 10th (Service) Battalion, Duke of Cornwall's Light Infy.

I am a Mining Engineer by profession, and did my training at Climax Rock Drill Works, near Camborne, and at the Camborne School of Mines. I have also had considerable experience in Pioneer work in the Colonies.
