Nov 29th Wild boars at OPPY

Dec 1st Orders to leave Orderly Room. Packed up & sent stores down to mens billet. C.S.M. & Malin slept there.

Dec 2nd Left for Estaminet-Roussel. An unfinished kitchen. No beds -smoky - dark - damp - cheerless & rotten. But the whole family did their best to make things comfy.

Dec 6th Left Estaminet-Roussel for Mme Neuveglise higher up the St Pol road on the right up a path myself being in rich quarters & my sub 2nd Lieut Peterson over from Duisans.

Dec 3rd Went to Liencourt & on my way back I met an old friend who was in the 11th D.C.L.I. & he came back & took lunch with me & we had a ripping visit. He is now attached to the 6th D.C.L.I. 2nd Lieut Maylett a charming fellow.

Dec 7th Received 400 Gray's Cigarettes & a beautiful cake from Mrs. Herman of Doublebois Coun-
