[mole?] tells me dad is getting on fine, one consolation, he will be alright for the [?] now. I am glad he [?] still at the front as I would worry about him a lot more now I have been there as I know what it is like now. I am feeling fine now, getting over the trench fever. It was mostly shock that brought it on. A shell exploded within a few feet of the hole I was in and the shock took my breath away for a minute and I fell sick after that.
