Dear Friend Fred,

I received your letter to hand Dated 7 June and was very pleased to hear from you. that certainly was some letter of Jack Westover he is long winded I will give it to him, he is a Better man than me at writing letters. Chester Boyd, Jim Donnelly, Ginger Pearson, Clyde Kepner and a few more of the Cariboo lads are with us in the 54th now. they Broke the 67th Battn up.
