I recieved your glad and welcome letter all right. We are now Somewhere in France and now out of the trenches for a rest after doing 9 Days in. I thought Shorty is a lier and always did think it. Fred this is some life. Fritz is a bad Egg but our Arrtillary Can quiet him all right. We give him 5 shells for every one he gives us.
