On Active Service with the British Expeditionary Force

had a row on the Seine all over the Champs Elsyesse and was at the Great Notre Dame Cathedral when services was going on you talk about music that Pipe organ there is the grandest thing in the world. The French People say there is only one Paris and they sure know what they were saying when they made that remark. they call it the Bohemian life and believe me other Bohemians life for me the smartest dressed and best looking women I ever seen and polite and entertaining they certainly think a lot of the Canadians for the work they have done over here for last they think the Canadians are allright and go out of their way to show him a good time and if there is a race of people that know how to enjoy themselves it is the Parisians but I guess you have been there yourself in your younger days so good
