It was forwarded on fm here. I could not & do not yet understand how it was sent to Eastbourne as I had been in France since Aug 18/18. However those small puzzles only help to keep us from wondering too much (then) on the chances as to shall we ever get back. Now I am still wondering for another reason shall I ever get back. I have been demoblized as an ordinary T.A. in Eng & cant see how I am to get back & if I can get passage it seems I may have to pay my rail fare & feed my self all across Canada. A few of us men who enlisted in the U.S. into the Imperial Army elected to take our 28 days leave (given to all Imperial soldiers before demoblization) in Eng. The rest of us men (U.S. enlistment) were sent away last week to be under pay till they got to there homes & then to be given their 28 days leave with pay. I got sent over here a day after they left (on account of my long service) but the others are still held in France as no one seems to know how to get them out. Direct orders were sent to ship back all U.S. enlistments except those who wished leave in Blighty. I fear I am up against it as I have (in writing) been demoblized But I feel I have a right to be returned
