Thier stuff is a lot about nothing but you might hear I had tried to transfer & not get the rights of it. Robt Holmes deserted but the other two were men we picked up at Rupert. Anti British Americans & a lot of trouble to me as they were continually ganging Miniscia & M. Dwyer whos duty it was to see Minisci got a fair deal. Never would do any thing to stop it. Our Sergent was much in love with the 3 but I told him if my friend did not get a fair deal I would go to Col. Ross himself. I could have done that then & Col. would have got to the bottom of it without putting me in the Guard house as were only requits then. But now I know I should have gone to the Co Segt. Major then Plattoon office then O.C. Company in the first two did not give me satisfaction. We do not get much real millarty training this last two or three weeks. But still we
