Castle, and spent a whole farenoon among its historic rooms and passages. I also saw John Knox' house, St Giles Cathedral, and Holyrood Palace, the latter I combed through pretty thoroughly, then before leaving I got a splendid birdseye view of the whole city from the top of Nelsons Monument, built at a great height upon a high hill in the centre of the business section.

I have seen St Pauls, the Zoo at Regents Park, and many other places of interest in London, but the greatest of them all was The Tower of London. I spent a whole day there and only got out when they kicked me out. I spent some time in the Jewel room where the Crown and Coronation Jewels are kept, and I think it was the grandest sight I ever saw in my life. The bloody tower, Armoury of all ages room, including one of mail armor, one of firearms, one of swords etc etc, all claimed a fair share of interest, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay up in "The Smoke". My only regret being that it was far from a lengthy enough stop, however, as they mere considerate enough as to have a zyspelin
