9. I don't mean the mean aren't good physically for they are a fine husky bunch as a whole, but the accomadations here are fierce for the length of time they have had to fix up. One would really think the war had been going on a week or so. We are sleeping in the [Manufacturers] Bldg. It is about 300 or so feet long by about 150 ft or so wide & has six common heaters in it & four doors open all the time, also the roof is about 50 ft high & lots of the window panes missing, consequently half the boys have colds & they are hard to get rid of with this kind of weather. So I hear Fred Harper is letting himself out a few links. Good for him
