Canadian Machine Gun Corps March 2/3 /18. Dearest Mother & Father- Your letter of Jan 13th arrived yesterday I also got one from Mrs Michelborough- I'm still on the working party putting in some deep dugouts- we are down about 45 ft now and just commencing to put in the chamber. it is all chalk so it is not very hard digging- We have had a dandy winter so far until today it has been snowing & windy.
