4 Comp C.M.G.D. Sunday Nov 4th [1917] Dearest Mother & Father. No news or letters came in the Canadian mail to-day- I guess I can stand it though after getting three letters from Elizabeth in one week- There was a Canadian Rugby match here on Sat and it was great. I met three T.C.S fellows who were playing. I would like to get into it myself but I can't get off in the afternoon to practice until 4:45 and then we have supper, it is dark now at 5;30 so it can't be done. Last night Chick Carew and I went to an entertainment in one of the soldiers huts and it was the best that I have seen for ages. the artists were all old stage people and they certainly were good- BC Archives, MS-0249 Box 1 File 10 ELLISON FAMILY. Vernon. Mrs. Price Ellison, correspondence inward from her son Price Ellison. 1917.
