Dodie dearest. The photo arrived [quite?] safely this morning it is simply splendid of you dear heart - I wonder how you are getting on? expect you are now in N.Y. & I wish I were too - What fun we'd have - I am most tearfully [here?] & we are having a [-ily?] time of it. I still manage to [get?] plenty of motoring [?] which I love. I [?] [?]. [?] a food [?] to [?] [?] Doodie - I [?] am awful [thin?] - dine out here -
