Vancouver, namely a trawler, which had been sold by a Hull firm to somebody in Vancouver, it was only for the "run out" , but as she wouldn't be ready to leave for another two months, I would scarcely wait, her name was the " Outward Ho" a little bit of a thing about 100 feet long, it will take her about 3 months to go out, through the Straits of Magellan, (Cape Horn) I waited 3 weeks for her in case she would be ready, but their they found they would have to make some other extensive alteration, which would mean another 7 or 8 weeks , so gave it up as a bad job, it seemed worth while taking it on $50 for the run & $35 to find your own way home again, if you wanted to come home again, that is. i think if once I get out there I shall remain on the coast, it ought to be pretty good out there.
