J.D. Crease, Esq. Dec. 28th, 1920

I think there was a full narrative of the operations of the Division for the months of April, May and June, 1918, but I am not sure at present whether it is included in the one I have or not; I will look it up first chance I get and drop you a note.
It is very pleasant for me, Crease, to get in touch with you again. Without turning our present renewal of acquaintance into a mutual admiration society, I can truthfully say that you did the best job for me that was ever done on that line, and that that followed a period of very fine service with your own unit, and I have the very kindest recollections of your amiable and efficient self, and hope that I will have the pleasure of seeing you here at a no distant date, and better still, in Victoria itself.
With kindest regards, I remain,
Yours sincerely,

It expect to see General Ketchen and a mob of the old timers at a Military Ball tonight - For the second time since Jul 1919 I am wearing box spurs and nwalls. Such is war.
