Tues 12 Sept More heavy shelling on our trench. German aeroplane brot down just outside the trench all in flames. Out in front all night again with working party. No casualties but marvellous escapes. Got back to our trench [illegible] "all in.|
Wed'dy 13 Moved into reserve but heavy cannonading of nearby batteries did not help. Rain.
