My dear brother
A very splendid tin box address in your handwriting to me was handed me by the mail orderly. I found that it contained dates an excellent cake, and two packets of Hamsterley chocolate. Everything was in perfect condition and most highly appreciated.
In an hour or two (barring accidents) I step in a motor car + in about five hours later I should arrive at the port and tomorrow morning I should get on a steamer and by 5pm I should be in London. However these programmes are generally upset so we never count on anything until it has happened.
Now I must be off
Arthur D. Crease
Will you please thank each one individually to whom I am indebted for my parcel. I understand that includes besides yourself, Mother, Suzy + Leffie.
