yet seen. The house itself is much more dilapidated. Two of the towers have lost their roofs. The boat house has entirely disappeared and there is only the shore end of the bathing house. But it is still one of the most beautiful sites I have seen.

A most charming picture could be painted of what was once the entrance to the avenue. There is a Scotch fir there and a few of the original ash trees of the avenue - all others have been cut down.
