I have had a budget of home mail - 2 from Nell, 1 from Harry, 2 from you, 1 from Leffie + 1 from Fowkes. As I have written twice to Nell this week, I think you come next. May I say that I think you are doing a great work + more than taking your part in the war. To take a prominent place in the disgusting + loathsome cesspit of politics requires a fine determination and a clear insight into the need for reform. You stand a chance to make a name for yourself that will be revered long after all the soldiers are forgotten
