I needed all the time I could get for sleep. For the last couple of days I have been resting up for we were most of us about at the limit of our endurance. They are now giving us a rather easy time of it for a few days. By the way I am now a qualified instructor of flying. I rather doubt that I shall get the chance to go to Vancouver to instruct, for it is probable some of us will be sent overseas about the middle of July, though we don't know yet. If I do get the chance I will certainly go west again. I haven't the strength of will to refuse a chance like that, though instructing "greenhorns" in flying is no "soft" job.

Since I last wrote I have received three or four letters from you, Mother dear, and a pair of socks. I wear nothing but your socks and army issue boots here as the place is
