In the Field Sept. 10, 1918 Dear people; I have recieved several of your letters, Mother, including one through Cox's and three direct to here which were written later. I f I were you I would keep on writing direct to the Squadron and they will forward them to me when I go away. I think they will reach me quicker that way then through Cox's. As to how much longer I will be in France I can't say at the present. If there is an opening for me as a Flight Commander it will mean about two months more but if I don't get my flight by the end of the month I shall apply
