No 11 In the Field June 29, 1918 Dearest Mother Two of your letters -nos 39 and 40- have reached me since I last wrote you. This leaves no 38 which I have not received. I was quite surprised when you proceeded to tell about Mrs. Lewis's visit. I did not know she was coming to see you, even. I suppose you mentioned it in your previous letter- no 38.
