wanted you to have a nice brooch of the crest of the R.F.C., and, as I did not care for the ones to be had in Canada I have waited to get one here. I got one to-day and have sent it on to you by registered mail. It is gold with the letters R.F.C. in the centre in dark blue enamel. I do hope you will like it. You may look on it in the nature of a belated Xmas present if you like, though I have bought no presents this year, as I am not expecting to receive any.
