I am expressman plying between Yale & the Big Tunnel. I recognize the Defendant, King; I have packed spirituous liquors for him lately. between the last two months I have taken him up five or six cases - spirituous liquor, from the H.B.Co. Defendant paid me express [fees?]

King is in the employ of Onderdonk waiter on table & [?] wood. When the Chinaman recd this liquor from me he generally put it into the Chinamans sleeping rooms

I am Collector of Revenue for Yale District. The defendant King has not taken out a licence to sell spirituous liquor for the last six months, or at any other time to my knowledge.

Fined $200.00 and $30.00 for licence and all costs. $22.50 to be levied by distress & sale of goods and chattels and in default of payment, or of sufficient distress, to be imprisioned for the space of three months.
