Depositions of Witnesses CANADA City of Victoria Province of British Columbia The EXAMINATION of C P Bloomfield, of Victoria aforesaid,taken on this first day of April, in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty One, at Victoria in the Province aforesaid, before the undersigned, one of her Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said Province, in the presence and hearing of Ah Jim alias No. 6 who is this day charged before me This Deponent, C P Bloomfield, upon his oath deposeth & saith as follows: Yesterday morning a little after 6 o'clock I went to a China house on Cormurant Street .
