Wong Pang (Chinese), Tunstall Bay Bowen Island, B.C. Sworn, said: I left number two shed about twenty minutes to twelve, non, on March 12, 1910 and went to number one shed. I came out about ten minutes to twelve and heard the explosion. I do not know anything about the Chinamen. I think they wore company’s shoes. All Chinamen are told not to carry matches or smoke when they come. I have told men myself and Chinamen talk among themselves. The men killed had only been here about two weeks. They were supplied to Juen Sing. My work is to wheel [boses?] and empty shells. By the foreman: No one ever interpret the book of rules to me. I do not know what is in the book. The men are given books. At this stage David C Lew, was sworn as Chines interpreter, and [?elicited] balance of testimony.
