Wiliam Hinkeman having been duly sown states I work in the Wellington Mine I am a load layer I know the Curtain No 3 I assisted to put it up. Mr. Dunsmuir instructed me to work it & to let no one pass it. I wrote in large letters "No one allowed to pass here, fire" they were large enough to be easily seen by every one, the word fire was writtten underneath.
