An Inquisition indented taken at Wellington British Columbia day of April in the 42nd year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Victoria, before me Warner Reeve Spalding gentleman one of the coroners for our Lady the Queen for the districts aforesaid upon the view of the bodies of John Hoskins, William Rennie, Rueben Gough, Appols Damie, Edward Campbell, John Dixon, Ah Choo, Ah Hoy, [illegible] Gaug, Louis Prelli, then and there and within the jurisdiction of the said coroner, lying dead upon the oaths of John Williams foreman.
