Wellington Vancouver Island BC District of Wellington

An Inquisition indented taken at Wellington British Columbia, the 11th day of July in the 42nd year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Victoria, before me, Warner Reese Spalding, gentleman, one of the Coroners for our Lady the Queen, for the District aforesaid, upon the view of the body of Ah Yun Chinaman then and there and within the jurisdiction of the said Coroner, lying dead, upon the oaths of Charles Horth, foreman Joseph Ganner, William Horne, William Hodges, James Williams, Peter Irvine, Jurors good and lawful men of Wellington aforesaid, in the said District, who being here sworn and charged to enquire, on the part of our said Lady the Queen, when, where, how and after what manner, the said Ah Yun came to his death, do say upon their oath, that the
