[Coroner] INQUISITION
District of Nanaimo Province of British Columbia
An Inquisition indented taken at Nanaimo, V.I., British Columbia, the 16th day of September in the 39th year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Victoria, before me, Warner R. Spalding, gentlemen, one of the Coroners for our Lady the Queen, for the District aforesaid, upon the view of the bodies of George Brown, Mathew McDowell and a Chinaman named Getts, then and there and within the jurisdiction of the said Coroner, lying dead, upon the oaths of
John Panson, Foreman James Harold Donald Smith James Beck Thomas Clifford and John Gemmell
