Saturday 24th. Last night we were ferried over at Detroit, in the morning we stopped at London were we got out & had breakfast. I did not see Helmouth College I don't think Amy would like the place. Passed Paris a small village not worthy the name of Paris. Arrived at Niagara this afternoon & crossed the suspension bridge in the train, not so frightful as we imagined ir would be. There are a great many fine private residences here & the grass & trees still retain their bright fresh green color. I can't make out how it is. Stayed at the Clipton House, quarters very comfortable. | Saturday 24th. Last night we were ferried over at Detroit, in the morning we stopped at London were we got out & had breakfast. + | Sunday 25th. Wrote home today and did not go church. Hired a carriage & went to the Canadian side crossed the Suspension bridge & obliged to pay toll. The Falls on the Canadian sides are too beautiful & magnificent to be described. To form any idea of the grandeur of the Falls people must go to see them. Weather still lovely | ||
