June 6th. Move camp today to other side little Lake and camp on most uneven land. A rock for a pillow also the [?] for a cold water bottle for one toes. We left most of our supplies across the lake and only pack our blankets etc.

June 7th. Today we have to ascent a mountain 5000 ft above sea level  to get to our work and many a tired limb comes back into camp this night. We have to walk among the snow all day being some 10 ft deep and although middle of summer our feet get so cold one would imagine it was winter.
