Monday March 28th Has passed visiting some Dog fishing Stations and in landing supplies for some Sealing Schooners:  three or four of these Schooners were waiting in the bay for fine weather: proceeding afterwards we landed at the flourishing town of Alberni. Tuesday March 29th

Where we landed our supplies warehousing them for the nights on the wharf:  we then split up into two by twos and visited the places  of interest in the aforesaid settlement:  (Alberni is on the west coast of Vancouver Island:  about 100 miles North of Victoria at the head
