I have tried so often to write you since receiving your kind letter of Nov last. I cannot tell you how much we all appreciated your tribute of affection and esteem for our dear boy. I shall always keep it and the  verses enclosed on the men of Oxford Town with our most cherished things.

I have tried so often to write you since receiving your kind letter of Nov last. I cannot tell you how much we all appreciated your tribute of affection and esteem for our dear boy. I shall always keep it and the verses enclosed on the men of Oxford Town with our most cherished things.
