1916 16 ThursdayNovember

Moncer arrives - one of 30th who was drafted into the PPCLI - January 1915. Table orderly rejoices in the name of Amos Lovelace. Meet Ada in afternoon & go for walk with the baby.

In afternoon with Ada have tea with Mrs. Fawcett - looks no older - only a little stouter. Spend evening trying to clear off some of my accumulated correspondence.

Get week-end leave & go home. Corp. Wright, Abbott & Brown & George & Mable & Norma & Elsie to party in evening. Walk with George to Ross Bay in afternoon.

At home - Rev. Owen comes christens all children. Pretty bad behaviour on the part of baby during the ceremony.
