Tuesday October 26th/15
Make a reduction from a R.E. Plan. Take a Two hour walk to Metenen & back across The field. Heavy Artillery fire all day on The left, & much shelling of aeroplanes - Two German planes brought down near Nieppe - One a direct hit - - a wing shot off. - One German aeroplane - an Albatross was not only hit by our anti-aircraft guns , But pursued, hit & driven to earth
