With the Season's Greetings
TO THE MEN OF COMPANY B 30th BATTALION CANADIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE
O some there are who go to war By way of printers' ink And some men who will wonders do When to the neck in drink. They greatly dare in an armchair The strife of flood and field, With pen in hand they stoutly stand, In rhyme they never yield.
But here's to those who meet our foes With bullet and with steel, Who make recoil from Belgium's soil The Kaiser's cloven heel. And be that day not far away When you return again And, victors, hear Prince Rupert cheer Prince Rupert's fighting men.
Here's to the lads who dare and do, Here's to the men who see it through, Here's, Prince Rupert's soldiers true, Luck and health and strength to you.
By the grand old Flag above you We're proud of you and love you
