We turned over all our Machine Guns etc today, and we are turning over the Gun [limbers?] in a day or two to the Imperial Ordinance, so a move is really in sight. Am glad I just got my trip to Brussels in, in time, I had two decent days there. It is a beautiful city, buildings are very fine. I went to the Opera one night to a piece called Orphée. The play was all in French so I wasn't much the wiser being a poor French scholar! Still I enjoyed the music - By the way I have sent off a couple of small parcels of souvenirs which I had knocking around in my bed |
