Your welcome letter of Dec 6th written from San Jose reached me tonight, also the Xmas number of "Life" which Mother so kindly sent. It seems a good number and will be much enjoyed, have only had a hurried look at it so far.
I have been much interested in letters, from both of you, hearing of your adventures in Cal; taking it on the whole you both seem to be having a fair time of it in a quiet way.
