We have quite a bit of gun drill each day which is really rather good fun. We are divided up into teams of about 6 men to a gun, and this is leading to keen competion as to which team can mount its gun the quickest. i am in No. 1 team and we think our changes of defeating the other gun teams in the class are pretty good, we have made the quickest time for mounting so far. The standard time test laid down is 20 secs, to do that one has to step pretty lively. The gun weighs  32 1/2 lbs empty (ie. without out water in the barrel casing ) 42 lbs filled and the gun tripod weighs 52 1/2 lbs, the tripod
