out to France soon & make up for lost time by doing some heavy execution with an M.G. however no chance for 3 months at any rate I'm afraid, so you need not to worry at all about me. It certainly does make one's blood boil to read of the bombing of those Red X hospitals, the brutes have resorted to the lowest & meanest kind of warfare, & I hope the day is not far distance when they will be made to pay dearly for it. The times are still exceeding critical in France, the latest strong Hun attack has been going the last four days or so, the fighting must be something fierce, if anything, the news is a little more favourable today though & I think their advance will soon come to en end. Distance rumbling of heavy guns in France can be heard on a still night from our camp here. Too bad the Huns got that fine L.S. transport the President Lincoln; still we have to be prepared for loses occasionally & it is really marvellous they don't get more - mighty lucky too that she wasn't loaded with troops.
