The town of Seaford is a very small place, about 2 miles from the camp, and there is really nothing to do or see there, one can see the whole town in about 5 mins. Of course the Country round about is very pretty and I hope if I get the time to have some walks along the country roads.

We carry out much the same hours here as we did at the Willows, except we get up a bit earlier, Reveille 5:30 am I don't usually stir til 6 am though! Then at 6.45 the Officers have to attend Physical Training class till 7.30am. There must be about 60 of us, we put in quite a strenuous 3/4 hour and by the time 7.30 comes we are quite ready for breakfast, at least I know I am! The meals here are nothing to write home about I can tell you and I don't expect to put on any weight in this camp! They have our rations down to a fine point, but don't think I'm starving because I get enough! It's the little extras one misses - mind I'm not grousing but to give you an idea what I mean - Margarine one small pat per meal enough to butter 1 piece of bread! Sugar very small ration for breakfast and lunch, none for our Tea at night. Jam, Marmalade are
