Daisy has a very comfortable house and a fine big garden, overlooking the Forth. She can watch the movements of the Fleet. We had a good view of the ship that Spicer is on from her garden. Daisy was in very good form and seemed v. glad to see me again. Well after I left Daisy's I beat it back to London were I have been ever since, I found word waiting for me that I need not report until my leave was up. had I known this when I was up in Edin I might not have
