was very interested of course at seeing the old place again, the weather was beautiful while I was there and I saw Princes Street at its best, the place of course is full of Officers both Military and Naval; was sorry I hadn't time to run out to see old Spence. Train service these times is different to what it used to be, there was about only one train running out to Gifford, so it was out of the question. Well the T.P.s gave me a very warm welcome indeed, they were awfully
