III

Perhaps in the winter the knack of [illegible] will come back to me.

[Bey's ?] friend the great Johnny Evans was here last year but unfortunately is in some other camp now - I would like to have met him - probably will sooner or later.

We have heard all sorts of rumours lately about exchanging people who have done 18 months or two years in prison but I don't suppose for a moment anything will come of it. In any case there is apparently an absurd clause to the effect that one also has to have 3 children which would put me out of the running. I hope Uncle Tom is in good form - please give him my love Your affect. nephew Ronald
