I am afraid we will miss most of the scenery in the Rockies this time as we will be passing through them tonight.

The 2 Imperial officers are quite decent fellows, one of them I should say was 1/2 Chinese and 1/2 white, he can speak Chinese & English equally well, he is quite a "[nut?]" & strolls about in white flannels & Pith helmet. We are going straight through to Quebec I believe this time, so that will make a little change as I have been to both St. John & Montreal on last trips.
